Indiba is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure to help smooth, tighten and contour the skin temporarily reducing the appearance of cellulite. Indiba raises the internal temperature of the tissue as part of a relaxing yet effective treatment that works to stimulate collagen production and increase circulation. This treatment is ideal for skin that is starting to sag, redefining the jaw, loose jowls, sagging or excess neck skin and smoothing wrinkles and fine lines.

Collagen is one of the most fundamental proteins in our skin – giving our skin a youthful, tight and taut appearance. Once we reach the age of 25, our collagen levels start to deplete and continue to decrease as we age. Eventually, collagen activity in our skin becomes completely dormant which causes the fine lines, wrinkles and sagging we associate with the ageing process.

Without medical skincare and medical treatments, our bodies will not continue to produce collagen. Our treatments help to stimulate collagen production to combat the effects of ageing.

WHAT IS INDIBA?

The Indiba facial and body treatment uses electrical pulses and heat to stimulate collagen production. The deeper layers of the skin are penetrated with heat which may feel like a deep heat sensation, whilst the outer layer of the skin is cooled during the treatment to avoid any damage.

NEW COLLAGEN

Radio frequencies are used on the body to break down stubborn pockets of subcutaneous fat which are then gradually eliminated by the body’s natural metabolic system.
Our Indiba treatment is used on both the face and the body to tighten the skin by stimulating new collagen formation. It is by delivering a controlled heat directly to the tissue that causes collagen contraction and the formation of new collagen helping to reduce fines lines and wrinkles, strengthen the skin and help it to look firmer, tighter and more healthy.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Indiba uses radio frequency energy in two modes – Capacitive and Resistive Mode. The Capacitive Electrode (CET) stimulates energy points, a unique and important step to promote lymphatic drainage which is critical in treating cellulite; and the Resistive Electrode (RET) is able to penetrate and increase the internal temperature which acts effectively on cellulite and stored fats.

WHAT RESULTS SHOULD I EXPECT TO SEE?

Results for Indiba facial treatments should be noticeable by the third or fourth treatment. Body treatments may take longer to show improvement (areas where injected fillers have been used, will not be treated).

We recommend good dietary habits, sufficient intake of liquids and light physical activity are beneficial for optimum results.

HOW LONG SHOULD THE TREATMENT TAKE?

How long your procedure will take depends on the area being treated. A face and neck procedure typically takes 45 minutes, while a chest treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. You should check your individual profile with your therapist.

DO I NEED TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK?

With Indiba, there will be no downtime. After your treatment, you can resume your normal activities immediately, without having to follow any special post-treatment measures

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

The skin might appear flushed at first, but the redness should disappear within a few hours. Some people experience slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these are temporary. Less common effects may include temporary bruising or numbness on small areas of skin
